Saturday evening, February 9th -
Waiting for the parade to come:
I stood right where the blue arrow is pointing - St. Charles Avenue exiting the CBD at Lee Circle. The red flag marks where the parade will end which is near the Superdome.
Streets are blocked off and everyone is finding their spot for the parade. To the right is some valuable parade merchandise.
Streetcar lines wrapped up in paper streamers and buildings bordering Lee Circle decorated with Mardi Gras colors.
Confederate General Robert E. Lee is the center of Lee Circle from there he is supervising the port-a-potties and the parade crowds.
This crap is the property of the City of New Orleans. Do not touch or you will be fined!
